4 October 2014 was — by the numbers — a happy night with
- 650 pounds of soy beans and seven dried beans models of the universe
- 500 cups of seven bean chili served
- 165 mini bean bags filled and sewn
- Three Orca beans found again and again
- The Bean Bath emptied and filled again and again and again by volunteers and visitors
- Seven Beanets spotted through lensless telescopes
- Seven Beansticks sounded
- Bean Star played
- And, a table-top dried bean model of the universe made over 12 hours by an estimated 600 visitors.
